Are you a fan of The Legend of Zelda? Then The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses is not something you can miss out on!

“Journey back to the land of Hyrule with Master Quest, the next chapter in the acclaimed world tour, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. Master Quest is a never-before seen or heard multimedia concert experience that celebrates the beloved 29-year-old The Legend of Zelda franchise. It’s not to be missed!”

We were lucky enough to ask Symphony of the Goddesses’ Executive Producer, Jason Michael Paul a few questions.

Jason3smallWhat made you want to produce a show dedicated to Zelda?
The Legend of Zelda is one of the most beloved game franchises of all-time – that in and of itself is a reason to want to produce a show dedicated to Zelda. The music throughout the games created by Koji Kondo are so memorable and enhance the playing experience so much, we wanted to create something as an homage to that.

What is the most challenging aspect of working on a franchise like Zelda?
Fans are so close to the franchise and the music behind it – the most challenging part is making the show perfect each and every night. Of course, on top of that we’re always trying to continually improve the show to make each visit a better experience for fans.

You’ve worked on both Final Fantasy and Zelda shows now, but what other game series would you like to work with in the future?
I’ve also produced a show called rePLAY: Symphony of Heroes which features music from all types of major game franchises. We’re always looking forward to the next step, but right now we’re enjoying the worldwide Zelda tour.

And the most important question, what is your favourite piece of Zelda music?
My daughter and I love to play Ocarina of Time – so any featured piece from that game.

We will have a review of the concert, which took place at The SSE Wembley Arena last Saturday, tomorrow.
